A shop-window LED wall for Farmacia Mondello Valdesi
A 3 mm pitch LED wall installed inside the shop window facing Mondello beach, to announce promotions and themed days to passers-by.

The brief
The pharmacy faces one of the busiest streets in Mondello, a few steps from the beach. Promotions and themed days were announced with printed material, which has to be produced, replaced every time something changes, and which loses legibility in the sun. What was needed was a way to update the shop window quickly and without reprinting.
The constraints
The installation had to fit inside the existing shop window, without building work and without taking display space from the interior. The location faces a very bright street, so the picture had to stay legible during the day, seen through glass.
The solution
An indoor LED wall with a 3 mm pixel pitch was installed, chosen for the short viewing distance of people on the pavement: a wider pitch would have made text less defined at that range. It is mounted inside the window, facing the street.
The installation
The panel was mounted inside the shop window, set back from the glass, and connected to the pharmacy's existing wiring. No building work and no changes to the window were required.
The content
Content is updated by the pharmacy itself: posters for current promotions, themed days and upcoming initiatives, which the staff can replace on their own without producing new printed material.
The outcome
The window now announces what the pharmacy is running, with content that changes when the promotion changes. The display is visible from the pavement and from the street, and makes it immediately clear what is on offer.
