Cookie Policy
This document explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on fbdigitalsolutions.it. It follows the guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021 and supplements the Privacy Policy.
In short
This site uses no cookies. None of its own, none from third parties, neither technical nor profiling. No analytics, audience measurement or advertising tools are active.
This describes the current state, verified on the published site — it is not a statement of intent. If tools that use cookies were introduced in future, this document would be updated before they were switched on, and the banner would ask for a choice again.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a site places in a visitor's browser and that the browser returns on subsequent visits. Different technologies — such as the browser's local storage — achieve a similar result: storing a piece of information on the device. The law treats them in the same way, which is why they are described here together.
What is actually stored in your browser
Local storage — necessary
- Name: fbds.consent
- Type: browser local storage, not a cookie
- Purpose: remembering the choice made in the banner, so it is not asked again on every page
- Duration: until withdrawn or until browser data is cleared
This is the only information the site stores on your device. It contains no identifying data, is never transmitted to any server and cannot be read by third parties. Its sole purpose is to remember your decision: without it, the banner would reappear on every page.
It requires no consent, being strictly necessary to provide a service you expressly requested — Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code and the Authority's guidelines specifically exempt the technologies used to store the consent choice itself.
If you make no choice, nothing is stored.
Categories provided for but not active
The banner presents three categories because the site is built to host them in future. As things stand:
- Necessary — active, but with no cookies at all: only the local storage entry described above.
- Measurement — not active: no analytics tool is installed.
- Marketing — not active: no advertising tool is installed.
Accepting the measurement or marketing categories today activates nothing: the choice is recorded and will only take effect if and when a tool is introduced.
Third-party services called by the site
Some features require the site to contact third-party servers. These services place no cookies on this site's domain, but they necessarily receive your IP address, as happens with any resource loaded over the network.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam verification of the contact and support forms. No cookies on our domain.
- Sanity — loading the editorial content of the pages. No cookies on our domain.
- Vercel — serving the site and the functions that receive the forms. No cookies on our domain.
Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded only on pages that contain a form — Contact and Support — and is necessary for the form to work: without it the submission cannot be protected and therefore cannot take place.
During the anti-spam check Cloudflare may store technical information on its own domain (challenges.cloudflare.com), not on this site, in accordance with its own notice.
How to change your choice
You can review or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie preferences page, also reachable from the footer.
You can also delete what your browser has stored through the browser's own settings. Instructions are available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
Clearing the site's data also removes the record of your choice: the banner will reappear on your next visit.

This document is updated whenever the tools used by the site change. The date of last update is shown at the top of the page.
